Have you received notice that you have mail in your message box at www.sismo.no?

Why have you been notified that there is mail in your message box at www.sismo.no?

Statens innkrevingssentral (SI – the Norwegian National Collection Agency) has now started using the central contact and marketing exclusion register in which contact information for all inhabitants of Norway is registered. That is why you have been notified that you have mail in your message box on our website. We have permission to use the register, and we are the first public agency in Norway to start using a secure digital mailbox to send letters.

If you also want to receive mail from other public agencies digitally, you have to create an account at Digipost.no or E-boks.no

All government agencies will send mail digitally in 2016

By the first quarter 2016, all government agencies that currently send mail on paper will send mail digitally in a secure mailbox when communicating with the public. You can choose whether you want to receive mail from public agencies in Digipost or E-boks.

Are you unsure whether you want a digital mailbox?

Because all government agencies will be required to send mail digitally, you will find that more and more government agencies change their procedure for sending mail in 2015.  If you create a Digipost/E-boks account, you will no longer have to keep track of several local digital mailboxes and will only have one digital mailbox from public agencies to check.  Smart, isn't it? You will also receive your mail faster because you do not have to wait for letters to arrive by post.

Reserving the right not to receive digital mail

It is possible to reserve the right not to receive digital mail, but the disadvantage is that you at the same time say no to mail from all public agencies.

If you still wish to reserve the right not to receive digital mail, go to norge.no.

Do you have to have an account with Digipost or E-boks in order to read letters from us?

No, we always send all letters to you in your message box here at www.sismo.no, so you can log on and read them there. This also gives you access to other services that you can use to divide up claims / postpone payment or see an overview of all the claims we have against you.
