Your options
If you commit minor offences, such as illegal parking, not paying the fee for using studded tyres, not using a seat belt etc., the police or the Norwegian Public Roads Administration's regional offices can impose penalties (road traffic penalties) on you.
If you wish to apply for cancellation of the debt or appeal against the penalty, it is the authority that imposed the penalty that will consider your application. Enforcement of the claim will not be stopped while the application is being considered unless we are told to do so by the authority that imposed the penalty.
